Who we are
A Slovak-Austrian company Ferroplast SK was founded in 2003 as the successor of a well-established producer of small parts for the automotive and construction industries with the focus on the Austrian market. Our metal production is order based. Thanks to our technical equipment and experience, we are able to produce different types of products starting with small parts for engines and ending with delta blocks for dual carriageways.
Our company’s office is located in a picturesque vineyard town Pezinok, on the border of the Little Carpathians, close to Bratislava. Our location is of advantage especially when considering logistics as we are close to a logistic node connecting 4 states, to be more precise Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Hungary. Our greatest ally is an Austrian company Ferroplast headquartered in an Austrian town Steyr.
By gradual technological development, we have become an important medium-size enterprise delivering products worldwide, with the focus on the western and central parts of Europe. Our company’s progress can be seen in our year-on-year growth, not only from the perspective of our headcount but also when considering the volume of expedited products and our market share. With the help of our partners, it took us a few years to establish a stable business network.
Our current number of employees fluctuates between 30 and 50 people. It is crucial for our company to have professionally competent employees. This is ensured by the recruitment of qualified people and regular training of those already employed. The training is focused not only on safety and work with new machines but also on the improvement of cooperation of individual production units, important steps to take in order to ensure the quality of our production and the importance of timely performance of our activities. We understand that without cooperation and the right level of our employees’ engagement the sufficient quality of our production cannot be achieved.
Our company can produce various types of products made of sheet metal and metallurgical material. The precision and quality of our production have resulted in having the greatest part of our production delivered to the automotive and construction industries. Another substantial part is delivered to the municipal sector. It mostly covers the production of bins, park benches, garden sets and furniture production.
Our customers are, for example, automotive companies KIA, MAN, Volkswagen, Jaguar or the city of Vienna.
Our production capacities and experience:
- Small parts for aircraft and small combustion engines;
- Furniture fittings and mechanisms;
- Construction equipment and machinery components;
- Large transport pallets for automotive companies and their sub-suppliers;
- Small and medium-size structural elements for the construction industry;
- Structures for sites, dual carriageways, and concrete mixing plants.
Our approach to production and our effort to continuously improve the quality of our products has been acknowledged with an ISO 9001:2015 certificate issued by TSU CERTITECH. This certificate and the satisfaction of our customers indicate that we are on the right track to become a large and strong enterprise able to compete with other companies throughout the entire European Union.
